Summer Camp 1: RUSSIA: June 16-19
Camp Overview: Come travel the world with The Idaho Outdoor School for Summer 2025- first stop: Russia!! We will learn about the history, art, food, inventions, geography and climate of Russia through play and projects. Summer camp is an incredible way to get your kids outside, meeting friends and continuing on with their learning through out each season.
Learning Activities:
Each camp will follow a rotation of themed learning goals and projects:
Day 1: Geography and Climate
Day 2: Notable People/ Traditional Dress and History
Day 3: Inventions/ Large Contributions to the World
Day 4: Preparing and Studying Cultural Foods
Camp Details:
Ages: Designed for homeschooled students ages 5-13
Format: Drop-off program
Environment: Fully outdoors- students should come dressed for the weather. Summertime means sturdy, water appropriate footwear, sunscreen and LOTS of water.
Supplies: All materials provided
Class Balance: Ample time is set aside for structured learning, building friendships and lots of free play!
Additional Info:
Children will need to come with a lunch and snacks packed and there will be water play in shallow parts of the river. If you have any restrictions in regard to these activities- please notify us!
