The Idaho Outdoor School Job Openings
We are looking to expand our team of teachers! One of the goals of The Idaho Outdoor School is to allow homeschooling parents to bring in an income while getting to home educate their children and we are so excited to be opening up more space to accomplish that! Teachers will be trained in how to care for and watch over their students as well as how to operate a classroom that prioritizes relationships with nature as well as learning materials and peers. All materials, curriculum and supplies are provided.
Available Locations: Boise, Nampa, Star
Available Days of the week: Tuesday and Thursday
Lead Teacher
Job Description
Responsible for setting up and taking down the outdoor classroom.
Transporting all materials and exchanging them for new materials once a month in Nampa.
Checking in all students and leading class.
Able to run small group learning sessions
When possible, capturing pictures and videos of class
Pay: $60/class plus one child's tuition.
Requirements
Must be homeschooling for at least 2 years or have teaching experience
Must be able to perform the physical tasks of walking, standing, lifting and carrying of the classroom.
Undergo fingerprinting and background check
Have or be willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certification
Train at one of our summer camps, be available for training prior to start of semester.
Assistant Teacher/Summer Camp Assistant
Job Description
