Course Overview: This language arts course introduces a variety of reading and writing types for discussion and debate.
Writing Skills: Students will:
Compare different writing styles, examining grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
Create their own writing to mimic studied styles, using nature as inspiration.
Practice writing at their own level, incorporating new vocabulary for added challenge.

Narration and storytelling.
Spring Semester units: Poetry, research writing, biography, and autobiography.

Ages: Designed for homeschooled students ages 6–12.
Format: Drop-off program, fully outdoors—students should dress for the weather.
Supplies: All materials are provided.
Class Balance: Time is set aside for both structured learning and friendship-building.
Parent Communication: Weekly emails recap class content.

While no additional work is required, content can support charter school submissions.
